 We’re partnering with Do The Thing™ to host a 17-Day “Fund Your Film” Challenge — exclusively for our community

THE CHALLENGE

How would you like to keep the momentum going from the FUND YOUR FILM workshop  — and put what you learned at the Aug 23rd workshop into action? 

We’ve partnered with Do The Thing™ to bring a special opportunity to San Diego Media Pros and attendees of our FUND YOUR FILM Workshop. It's a Do The Thing Challenge, powered by the Find Your Voice activation model.

This 17-day experience is designed for creatives, change makers and storytellers who are ready to move beyond ideas and into action. Each day, you’ll take simple but powerful steps that help you:

  • Create — bring your ideas into tangible form so your story takes shape
  • Collaborate — connect with creatives, allies, and partners with similar goals who can support your vision including the people you met at the FUND YOUR FILM workshop 
  • Gain Visibility — learn how to get seen, grow your audience, and spark momentum around your work.
  • Unlock Funding — discover resourceful ways to access opportunities, tools, and support that move your project forward.

By the end of 17 days, you won’t just know what to do — you’ll have already done it. You’ll walk away with momentum, real connections, and the visibility that attracts the support and funding you need to keep going


WHEN  

October 13th  - 29th, 2025

Everyday, you'll receive a  Question, Challenge or "Dare" - expect this to take about 10 minutes per day.  

Daily interactions for the Challenge will take place In a Private Facebook Group. Only members of the Challenge will be able to access this private group.

  • Monday, October 13: 12 pm Kickoff Event online via Zoom
  • Monday, October 20: 12 pm Check in online via Zoom 
  • Monday, October  27: 12 pm Check in online via Zoom
  • Wednesday, October 29: 12 pm Wrap celebration party online via Zoom or in person.
