    ABOUT OUR SPEAKERS

Brandon Vannier is a self-taught San Diego-based Videographer and Photographer who began his career as a production assistant. Specializing in Corporate, Event, and Promotional content, he uses his creativity to tell stories for businesses all over the U.S.

Mike Watson is Executive Producer and Founder of Video Approach. A seven-time Emmy award winner, he spent more than a decade chasing television news from hurricanes on the eastern seaboard to earthquakes on the west coast. At the CBS affiliate in San Diego, he directed commercials, PSAs, and half-hour programs. Eventually, he left the network life to serve corporate, nonprofit, and government clients with the skills he spent years mastering.

Chris Ryan has been working in media all his life, one way or another. After a 20 year career in radio broadcasting (including helping launch San Diego's Rock 105.3 in 1995), Chris segued over to Advertising Agency work. After another 20 plus years working in the Corporate Ad world (working on campaigns for brands such as Red Lobster, The Ohio Lottery and Western & Southern Insurance), Chris started his own entrepreneurial journey and launched Ryan Video Productions in 2017. Chris has had a camera in his hand since the 90's, but most recently has been focused on educational, corporate and documentary projects.

Jeff Troeber is a long time SDMP Board member.  His career in communications started as an award-winning broadcast journalist, before transitioning to technology as a writer and video creator.  He has been an in-house corporate Sr. Producer and Editor, creating videos for corporate and product marketing, customer education, large events, and customer testimonials.  As a producer, Jeff has planned remote productions by vetting vendors, planning equipment needs, and creating cost analysis and budgets.  For corporate events, Jeff has planned on-location shooting as well as created promotional videos, directed and shot customer testimonials, and gathered event footage. Post production included highlight reels, testimonials and social media clips.  Jeff has also designed and equipped three in-house studios.  Jeff served as the Voice of Seismic Software, providing voice over for various productions, as well as serving as a VOG for events.
