Making Lemonade: The Chris and Krista Francis COVID-19 Story

During this pandemic, we’ve seen scores of videos done at home that are touching or funny or just downright silly and fun.  (see the info below on Pandemic Playhouse.)

But few, if any, videos have been done that address the virus itself.  

Until now.

Meet Chris and Krista Francis, the filmmaking duo have created a visual glimpse into their personal journey with the coronavirus, having both been diagnosed.  No politics, no conspiracy theories, simply a their journey.

The COVID-19 pandemic looks to re-write our industry in ways we have yet to imagine.  Early reports point to limited crews, temperature and antibody checks, no sharing of gear, more status monitors to maintain social distancing, and a host of other changes.  

But what will never change is the need to tell stories.

The May meeting featured Chris and Krista Francis of Rosedale Productions here in San Diego.

They both contracted the COVID-19 virus.  Armed with nothing but a camera, computer, and a COVID-19 diagnosis, Chris and Krista set out to make the most of life, determined to find purpose and meaning in the midst of their struggles.
